Cannula thread
Innovative threads with unique and strong barbs improve the attachments to the tissue and therefore give a better lift and long-lasting result.
Innovative threads with unique and strong barbs improve the attachments to the tissue and therefore give a better lift and long-lasting result. Nordyx uses the best material that stays the longest time in the tissue to obtain maximum results – PLACL, is a combination of PCL (Polycaprolactone) and PLLA (Polylactic-acid). Biocompatible materials are resorbed by the tissue without any residues.
Stimulates the formation of new collagen, elastin, capillaries, and HA, which results in a stronger and more elastic tissue.
Stimulates angiogenesis (formation of new capillaries) which increases blood circulation and delivers more nutrition to the skin.
Long-lasting results without surgery – no scar formation or irreversible changes.
The Nose thread series is specially designed for nose procedures of stereoscopic volume and holding. There are two types of nose thread products (FA type & FG type) that are used depending on the purpose. The basic structure of both types is similar in the means that half of the bent FA type thread goes inside of the blunt cannula. The difference is that the cannula internal thread of the FA type thread is not barbed, whereas the FG type thread has a cog pattern.
Nordyx nose threads come in sizes 19G and 21G and are meant to give the nose definition, volume, and nose tip lifting.
We use the material PLACL also in our nose threads since this material is much stronger than PDO, and stays longer in the tissue, and gives a longer result that lasts up to 3 times longer compared to PDO threads.
FA type is intended to give volume to the bridge of the nose.
The FG type is intended to both provide volume along the bridge of the nose and also lift the tip of the nose.
Make a hole in the tip of the nose tip, and then carefully insert the nose thread cannula of choice. The cannula already has a thread inserted. Then move the cannula slowly and carefully to the point where you want to put the front of the thread to make the best result. Then slowly remove the cannula again, while the thread places itself in the tissue due to the cogs.
It is important to not have excessive movements of the nose the next 4 weeks after treatment. The thread is normally incorporated into the tissue after 4 weeks, and after 4 weeks normal facial treatments can be done, and no extra precautions have to be taken anymore.
No hard exercise in the first 14 days.
It is normal to sometimes feel that the nose is a little swollen for 3-5 days and that you feel a little pain. The thread with the small cogs can also push on the dermis or small nerves and give some pain sensations, but that is normally gone after 14 days.
Normally the thread is dissolved in the tissue after 12-18 months, but the new formation of collagen and other new tissue will give a result that lasts up to 3-5 years.
